Tamara Holden

Attorney at Law

We are sorry to have to inform you that Ms. Holden died on July 24, 2014 after losing her valiant fight against cancer. Her dedication to her clients and to the practice of law are an inspiration to us all. Before joining our law firm, Ms. Holden had her own practice in Seminole, Florida and she handled cases in Palm Harbor, New Port Richey, Largo, Safety Harbor and throughout the Beaches and Pinellas and Pasco counties. The law firm intends to honor Ms. Holden’s memory by continuing our commitment to the philosophy Tamara expressed below.

Here’s Tamara in Her Own Words:

I am often asked, “Why do you practice family law? Isn’t it difficult to help your clients through what may be the worst time of their lives? My answer to this question is simple. First, I practice family law because I enjoy being a helpful hand that someone can rely on in their time of need. During situations such as a divorce or custody fight, people often feel pressure and anger from those closest to them; their spouse. It is easy to feel lost when going through these battles. I have confidence that I, as well as my dedicated legal staff, can be here for you and help provide you with as much support as possible. More than half the struggles my clients face during this time in their life are purely emotional. I will be here for you to help guide you through this difficult time. Always remember, you are not alone.

Secondly, I practice family law to try to bring a level-headed opinion to the table to try to resolve issues and conflicts. I work hard to exhaust all avenues of dispute resolution that are available to try to keep your case under control and your attorney’s fees down. Another term for Attorney is “Counselor-at-Law,” which I believe is an accurate portrayal of my character and practice. I entered into family law to help others in need of this direction.

Finally, I practice family law to help children. A majority to my cases involve children, which is always the main focus between parents involved in a custody dispute. I work with my clients to provide a less emotional perspective on issues involving their children in order to help determine their best course of action. In this way “we” – my client and I – can mold a plan of action to follow throughout the case.

I do not take the same approach to every case, as each situation is very different from others. Instead I take a personalized approach to your case. During our initial consultation, I will discuss your current situation, your rights under the law, your goals, and what steps we need to take to get there. While I strive to settle my cases, this is not always possible. If presenting your case to a Judge is required, we will formulate a trial plan together so that you fully understand the process and I will aggressively fight for your rights.

Remember, You Are Not Alone – we are here to help.
