Which County Should the Divorce Action be Filed in?

The answer to the question of which county should the divorce action be filed in is the county in which the parties last resided together as husband and wife. If that county is outside the State of Florida then generally the party who is filing the petition can file it in the county in which they currently reside. But if both parties are still residents of the State of Florida, then the divorce action needs to be filed in the county where the parties last lived together as husband and wife.
